This hotel is tucked away in a quiet square, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets of the city. It's located down a quaint alleyway, opposite the historic San Zaccaria church, providing a stunning view from the rooms. The traditional Venetian style of the rooms adds a touch of elegance to the stay. Additionally, the included breakfast with endless coffee is a great start to the day.
All was just perfect.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful, room was very nice and homey, and the location couldn't have been better in my opinion.
The people working in the restaurant weren't very nice, especially the old lady. Breakfast was also very dissapointing, I had to stick to bread and butter.

The location of this hotel is simply perfect. It is situated in a quiet square, away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded tourist areas, yet still conveniently close to everything. You can easily reach the hotel from the Grand Canal through a quiet alleyway, allowing for a peaceful and authentic experience in Venice. The rooms at this hotel are absolutely charming and in the Venetian style, giving you a true taste of the city. And if that wasn't enough, some rooms even have their own private terrace overlooking San Zaccaria, offering a stunning view of the beautiful church just across the small plaza. The breakfast included in the stay is a real treat. There is a wide variety of options, both American and European, and the quality of the food is outstanding. From fresh fruit to pastries, cold meats to hard-boiled eggs, and of course, endless coffee for a perfect cappuccino, you won't be disappointed.
All was more than satisfactory, nothing to improve.

Its location - it is out of the main centre but right next to the main water transport pick up point. We stayed at a room at the 'back Hotel', not facing the canals, and it was quite - when you walk out of this back Hotel, you just to turn right into a little square with a small church from your lobby and walk about 15 meters right into the main hotel lobby for breakfast. Enjoyed the breakfasts - bacon, eggs toast, sweet things, fruits, yogurts and juices.
Aircon did not work the first night and humidity is high in Venecia but they fixed it immediatly the next morning.

Very convenient, modest price out of season, nice rooms but not large, airconditioning worked.
Internet very poor, broken for two days, intermittent most of the time, poor signal strength, constant need to login. Should be addressed, internet is now as important as food and water and should be included in the charge for the room. Facilities modest.

A Hidden Gem
We recently stayed at a charming hotel just a stone's throw away from the picturesque San Marco water taxi stop. The location was ideal for exploring all that Venice has to offer. Our room was surprisingly spacious, complete with a luxurious bathtub in the huge bathroom. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast that exceeded our expectations. While the hotel itself may not be considered luxurious, it provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
There was one drawback. Our room had a view of the back side of another building, which limited natural light and occasionally resulted in some noise from an adjacent AC unit.

A really lovely old hotel, we had a room that looked on to the square. The quietest room we have ever stayed in (apart from the 6pm chimes!). Full of character , Venetian decor , walking distance to everything. Would definitely use again.
No it is an old hotel but to find fault for the sake of it would be very picky indeed, though that doesn't seem to stop some people I notice!

Great location - no bridges to carry suitcases once leaving vaporetto at St Marks stop. Large room by Venice standards and decent breakfast.

During my recent trip to the city, I found a perfect, cosy hotel with a friendly vibe and an off the beaten track feel. The location was great - just a stone's throw away from the Vaporetto stop and within walking distance of most places, including the famous St Mark's Square. I even managed to attend a Vivaldi concert on the square! The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, and the room itself was clean and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and a courtyard view.
The staff were a bit snooty, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable at times.

The staff is friendly, and the breakfast offers a large selection with many options. We enjoyed the small roof terrace overlooking the charming church.

The hotel was of a very high standard particularly as we got up-graded to the Savoy Yolanda hotel. The views were fantastic and the service great. I would recommend it. It is very close to the water bus stop as well and is central to all main sites of the city.

My stay in the this hotel was excellent. The room was small but comfortable. The location was superb. Around the corner from St Marks square and bridge of sighs. It is situated in a quiet street facing a church on a pretty square. The staff were friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this hotel.
